Hi can anyone please tell me what my chicks are,boys or girls?they are now 4 weeks old,pekin bantams i am told that some of you can tell,i am desperate to know.

For comparison, here are some 4 week old Pekins that I hatched a couple of years ago. They are all girls.

I would say boys too but others who have replied are much more experienced at this, I am a novice at sexing chicks.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO surely it can`t be.i wanted to keep them all.Ihave some more hatching tomorrow Sheela is sitting on 5 eggs.Mabe they will be girls.Anyway i hope you `re al wrong

It is always best to have a clear plan about what you intend to do with any male hatchlings before you embark on hatching.

don't you folks think the lightest coloured one could possibly be a girl? it seems t have a smaller comb

than the other 2.

OH come on you good people,there is hope yet.

Anyway i am keeping one boy his name will be Carl.

Two empty shells i removed this morning from under Sheela but did not see the baby chicks she`s got them well hidden,bless!I did hear them though.
