charly1979
It would appear that my girls have NO manners in the morning a mad scrabble when the door opens either by me or the automatic setting (depending on if Im up early enough) Anyway this morning I lifted the door up and I kid you not 4 of them tried to squeeze through the door all at once !!! Cue loads of flapping feathers when they all seemed to shoot out together !! Daft impatient girls !
merlina
heh, my new 'cube' girls do this every morning. There's five in there and five want to leave *now*. There's a fluffy of flapping, feathers, feet and squawks as five large birds try to leave simultaneously. I've stopped worrying they'll hurt themselves and started enjoying the spectacle
charly1979
I suppose it's survival of the fittest ? Or maybe the smallest that pops out of the door first. It doesn't half crack me up. They either come out if the squish with such force they are airborne momentarily or heads get stomped on as they negotiate the ramp ! You would think there wasn't enough food the hurry they are in

Cheeky Chooky
Our doors are always open so the girls come out in their own sweet way The ducks however are shut in at night (otherwise they'd be mucking about all night long and they come zooming out of their as soon as it's opened
