Luvachicken
When I ordered my Classic from omlet it came with a free selection of goodies - one of them being a bottle of DE. It is only a 100g bottle and when you take the top off there is a little sprinkle hole in the top. I tried to sprinkle and I tried to puff it, but I only got 2 tiny amounts out of the bottle. It feels empty to me. I can't feel any powder move in the bottle or hear any movement either. It has been kept dry in my kitchen so should sprinkle. What am I doing wrong ? Lewis
Can you unscrew it and see if there's anything in it? It is really light but you should be able to feel it shaking in the bottle!
gavclojak
Haha I thought exactly the same but there is a method to it. Ok so what I did was hold it, turn it upside down, give it a shake, like you were trying to use the last drop in a bottle of ketchup, then point it to where you want to use it a give a really good squeeze and you should find it comes out in a puff action. I kept thinking mine was empty but it went on forever! Hope my method works for you
Lara and Frey
I second that about tipping it upside down and shaking it then squeeze hard and it puffs out. I usually have to shake every 2 or 3 puffs. I think with it being such a fine powder it gets clogged up even when dry and just needs shaking to give the individual particles room to get through the hole. Luvachicken
Thank you, I will try again. I guess I'm just used to the amount that comes out when you shake the red mite powder
