We are off camping in a few weeks and plan to spend an evening at the Eden project. Now, they do allow dogs in, but only the green and not into the bio domes. We are planning to have dinner down there so obviously she wouldn't be allowed in with us so we need a safe place to leave the dog overnight. We are staying at a campsite near Ashburton and would like to find somewhere not too far from there, preferably en route to Eden but close to the campsite so we don't have too far to go and pick her up the following morning. Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Har har yes it is but we are staying in Devon! Only travelling down there for the day as its just over an hour away from the campsite.

Have you tried contacting a local/nearest tourist office? They may very well be able to recommend a kennels nearby. The Eden Project themselves may also be able to help with a few details. Good luck!

 

We visited The Eden Project just after it opened and everything was VERY small......would love to go back and see it all now!!!! Hope you enjoy your visit!

I think they might have a kennel on site, not sure....it was a long time ago we visited,when the planting was tiny!

They don't have kennels on site - have checked. They do allow dogs inside the green now but not into the bio domes so will be a problem. I will have a look at the tourist info online and see what comes up. I feel we may go with one I have seen online who also have space, but just wanted to hear if anyone else had used one down that way they could recommend.

I used a kennel down there, however it wasn't that near to Eden... But in case it's any help it was this one.

 

It was a nice kennel - Tango was only in there for the day while we went to Eden, but the staff had been in a few times during the day and played with her so she had a bit of company.

Thank you for the link but that is further away from the campsite than I'd like. The idea is to use a kennel near the campsite, so we can drop her off on the way and collect her the following morning.
