buffie
Oh what a great get together we had, thanks to Clare for having good organisational skills and getting this arrranged. clappping emoticon required!! It's really funny how your imagination takes over in this 'virtual' world and people look different to how you imagine (especially as I was expecting to see a group if familiar avatars eating cake!! ) Anyway we all had the gift of the gab I reckon but I had competition with Clare for top 'chatterer!' That's great because I remember someone once (unkindly ) saying how could I ever counsel others if I don't stop talking Disappointed that no one brought large pants to wave but perhaps next time! Lesley (the dark horse) all glam in fluffy pastel pink and seductive black ( my guess is expecting a certain pant wearer to attend) sorry Lesley have I gone abit far (yet again) Anyway was lovely, like old friends! Off to get ready for visitors, am in poop trousers again!! Bx
Mrs Frugal
Wish I could have made it but I get a panic attack if I have to drive further than Peterborough on unfamiliar roads! Sounds like a good time was had by all. Hopefully LSH will drive me down to the BIG OMLET GET TOGETHER (gentle nudge James!! ).
Popcorn
Kate, at the next get together, jump on the train and I'll pick you up and we can drive togather, or failing that have a get together in Peterborough! I was sad to miss it , but am glad to say FIL is walking and is really looking rosy cheeked after his bypass on Thursday. Hope you had a big slice of cake for me and Kate girls. buffie
Had a lovely bit of cake and sorry you both weren't there, would love to meet you so lets get something sorted, eh. I'm rubbish in the car so Mikey brought me (what a star) and Gina great news about your FIL. Bx
Lesley
Lesley (the dark horse) all glam in fluffy pastel pink and seductive black ( my guess is expecting a certain pant wearer to attend) sorry Lesley have I gone abit far (yet again) Bx Are you sure that was me Jayne? I wouldn't recognise myself from that description - and I'm surprised if Kate has managed to stop laughing! PS I wasn't expecting any pant wearers to attend - but I was going home to one

Sheilaz
It was fun, great to see Lesley again & to meet the others for the first time. For some reason I'd thought.....Banbury, just up the road then. Its about one and a half hours from here...or over 2 if you head towards Bicester by mistake . But worth every minute, but the time whizzed by far too quickly. Look forward to many more of them.

Cate in NZ
I'm mildly envious that I'm too far off to travel easily to the Banbury area, I'd love to be able to participate in a get together like this. Driving isn't a problem, I'm a happy driver in most areas (except central London ) ; it's the parking when I get to my destination that fazes me I'm afraid. I'll definitely make the effort if the Omlet team do get around to arranging something. Simon muttered about the possibility when I saw him, so it's in their minds, but then again I got a quiet whisper about modified peanuts and run extensions... so what gives there boys? I'm waiting In the meantime, how about some of us South East/ London based Omleteers arranging a get-together? I don't know where. just an idea, but London's a pretty good central point, and we can work on that (like, narrow it down a bit ). PM me if you're interested and we can take it from there if there's a group of us intrested
