a question about feeding different foods to hens

Not been on here for a while, but last time I was everyone was highly recommending Flubenvet for worming chickens. I haven't done mine for a while so I think I better worm them!! Last time I used Flubenvet (and what a faff it is!! ) as everyone on here recommended it over all of the others. Is this still true, or can I purchase something that will work just as good off the Omlet website?

I think a lot of us now use the Marriages layers pellets with flubenvet added. No faff

You need to order them from a licensed supplier; call Marriages direct and they will send them out - either 10kg or 20kg bags.

I was thinking about using these, but wondered how long a bag lasts in terms of the flubenvet ?

If I bought a 10kg bag for my 5 girls I would have loads left over if it only did the one week.

I buy a 10kg bag for my teeny bantams (13 of them) and the use by date allows me to use it for the next worming session too. I get very little left over afterwards, so it ought to be fine to do that for your hybrids, which will eat more than mine.

No, 10kg is the smallest and does 2 loads of worming for my flock.
