paulad
Made the very stupid mistake of going to see the chucks with some treats... They weren't interested in the treats though only my bright red painted toe nails - I was wearing flip flops - never again

One of my girls has just started to jump on my knee when I sit I the run but I am terrified she is going to go for the kill shot to my lip or eye! jacquiefrost
This has made me laugh. My mother in law came round the other week to see our chooks (she grew up on a small holding with pigs, goats and hens) Well, she had on sandals and of course the girls headed straight for her lovely polished toenails! The shreeks could be heard several houses away i should think. I think, from the shock and surprise she showed, that perhaps they didn't have sandals back then, just wellies! Needless to say i won't be making the same mistake. Lol.
Millie-Annie
Never and I mean NEVER go in the run with blisters on show. You can't imagine the pain of three hens pecking your poor sore blisters
