Not too fine!

Have a look at this please. I was having a look at chickenalia on ebay.

It's item number 330152479256. I thought it was a bit grotty and I don't see any actual nesting area. It doesn't look like the birds are well cared for as if you go to the last photo - photo 6, what is wrong with the bird on the perch? Her comb looks that floppy that it covers her beak. I wouldn't have thought that was a healthy bird?

What do you all think? It upset me a bit.

Yes I know - I do wish someone with a heart on here would do that just to rescue the chooks! The poor little luvvies. I'd do it myself as not too far from me, but I haven't got any other accomodation for chooks & my new 3 are on order for when my cube comes. Then the mk2 will be used for pekins. Plus, I don't want that wooden house anywhere near me, I reckon it's riddled with mites!

Oh I do hope someone will rescue them.

I just did a search Buff, & it came up right away.

I have reported it, as I do if I ever see hens for sale or "given away free" with a hen house.

I did feel for these poor little things though

If it isn't off already, it will be in a couple of hours 8)

It really pulls at your heartstrings doesn't it! I think one is a vorwerk isn't it - lovely looking bird - it would be such a shame if it or any of them had mites - but I'm pretty sure they all will have. He's more or less spelt that out saying could do with being treated for mites!

Terrible, absolutely terrible!

Hi Lovemychooks,

Darling hubby had saved the details.

Here is the link again - google has a cache copy of it ( don't ask hubby has told me)!

Anyway his postcode is M14 7PY and his username on ebay is:-

toadsmrtoad84 - so you could always email the seller and ask if he'd let you have the chooks.

Right I'll start! To get rid of his buy it now!

Oh someone's beat me to it! Looks like a chicken keeper too looking at their feedback. Lets hope they will go to a loving home!

oh that is good news. I must admit this was one auction I didn't want to see pulled - simply in the hope the chooks got a good home rather than where they are now
