Chickabee
Was walking my dogs today with some friends. We like to have intelligent conversation about, how many glasses of wine last night, what did you watch on the Telly. You know all the important things. I mentioned that I watched silent witness and had anyone else seen it. Oh yes piped up my friend Sally. I remarked that the whole episode was very dark. Sally replied, with great authority, that it was filmed in Scotland, and it's always dark there 2 of us, who have been to Scotland corrected her. She said we must have been very lucky . She is definitely not a know it all, but when she's got something in her head and she thinks it right, she is absolutely convinced. She is a very lovely lady, who makes me laugh a lot
Ain't Nobody Here
At this time of year, she's just about right . Tell her to go right to the north of Scotland in mid summer though - she'll get a surprise .
Chickabee
I got my husband a SAD light for his birthday a few years ago. We kept it on our desk. It's great the kids used it when they did their homework. It's also fantastic when your doing your eyebrows
Grandmashazzie
Funny enough Sonya I had just read thread about bleeding claw from Scotland and person commented it was dusk at 3.30 I read it around 4.30 and it was still bright and sunny here.So your friend was maybe there in winter Loving silent witness but think I prefer old mob,Leo etc

Grandmashazzie
Even weirder.
newcountrygirl
I love this programme but have to confess that I too prefer the old team. This weeks episode was very dark - we thought it was our tv and kept putting the controls up to maximum brightness but it made no difference. bluekarin
I haven't watched much of this series, just the one on this week. Thought it was interesting but was really annoyed by the guys over reaction to people and thought his story about the girl he had to stop seeing and the rest was a bit, well, unconnected to the story. Unless I missed something. Made me shiver when all the sniffer dogs sat in the woods *shudder* I too prefer the old team.
Grandmashazzie
I agree, that over the top reaction by a professional? is something you can't see happening.Agree too about sniffer dogs- spooky.I also wondered how many sniffer dogs police would have access to.Although 7 dogs made for good T V.It reminded me of ED mum in law who watches TV saying asif,as if when things like that are shown. Eggasperated
This is beginning not to work for me at all. The stories seem very contrived ie Jack with his story about the girl he knew when he was younger, and too much concentration on personalities rather than good investigation. However I do really like Clarissa. The only bit that caught my attention this week was with the dogs in the forest, very eerie.
