Mel (& Paul)
Oh goodness, only about 40 minutes before Ocado deliver. I hope that everything is OK. I do think that with home delivery it depends on the individual store and the shopper as to how good it is. Next year, according to my boss, will be much better for a decent home / work split so I should have time to go to the local farm shops (mind you she has been saying "next year will be better" for the last 5 years. I did think I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Then I realised it was just some b***ard coming towards me with a torch and more work
buffie
It costs more but the staff are good, they are top for quality and environmental awareness. The experience is a nice one, I just don't get that anywhere else in the supermarkets. I happily cut back elsewhere. BBx
Lesley
I did think I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Then I realised it was just some b***ard coming towards me with a torch and more work I know the one you mean Mel - Carl keeps meeting that ***** as well, which is why he's still working six and a half days a week with some eveniongs thrown in Carl is in Tesco right now - nearly finished - and has had to phone me 6 times! Not because he is being Mr.Typical, but because there are so many things that Tesco don't have. It's only Thursday It should be better at the Farm Shop later when I go to collect cream and veg. - I hope so
Mel (& Paul)
Well, Ocado turned up at 7.15. The chap was lovely, really friendly and offered to bring the stuff into the kitchen. There was only one substitution - I ordered Duchy's vegetable crisps and they substituted it with another make - so no complaints there!!! All the cold meats / bacon / milk etc have nice long dates on. So I am a happy bunny

The Dogmother
Our Tesco was heaving last night - the great unwashed were out in droves! I generally like grocery shopping, it's just the people! Mind you, I got a smoked wild salmon roulade for free - it was on reduced and they rang it in at the wrong price, so I got to keep it and my money back . I always think of Clare* doing that when I am shopping, but I don't have the time to look out for wrongly priced items.
