Luvachicken
After waiting soooooooooooooo long for more than egg, I finally got 2 eggs today One with a pale shell was from my normally broody Suzie who has made up for her broodiness by laying an egg nearly every other day all Winter, and I'm pretty certain the other egg with a beautiful darkish brown shell was laid by Lucie, who hasn't laid an egg since I don't know when. Well done Lucie Edited March 4, 2014 by Guest

Luvachicken
If Daffy duck is getting fruity that must mean it will soon be time for Suzie to get broody
sweetpea08
Hmm well I was watching my three today and Amber was acting odd very frantic. What a surprise I got today when I went to to find that she had laid an egg but it had fallen through the roosting bars and broke I think it was a softie On the plus side she came to be nosy while I was checking to see if I had a mess to clean on the bars I didn't and she found the nest box and spent 30 minutes in there getting comfy so here's hoping for a 2 egg day tomorrow. Luvachicken
Fingers crossed for your 2 egg day tomorrow I did have 6 chickens but never got a 6 egg day, only ever a 5 egg day. Now sadly I only have 5 chickens and am lucky to get 2 on odd days
chickencam
Our new Marigold got up in the late evening and was wide awake and wouldn't go back in the house. She is top of the pecking order with the newbies so no bullying. We kept an eye on her during the evening and at about 11pm she had dropped two soft eggs from the perch. One broken from just a membrane the other smaller and just egg white but not as small as a wind egg. She had also laid a normal egg that morning! She is fine and dandy today, we will see what tomorrow brings!

chickencam
Yes I know I don't think that I would fancy having 3 babies in one day . She had a couple of days off and then gave us another perfect egg yesterday.
