newcountrygirl Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 I have 2 Polish Frizzles. The older one started laying last summer but then stopped and so far hasnt layed since. Beantree Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Check them for mites and lice and make sure they have good quality layers pellets. Have they enough run space and is the area free of predators or anything that may frighten them? They will only lay if they feel happy and secure. The reason I ask is that a friend of a friend asked me to have a look at her non laying Pekin bantam. One glance told me all I needed to know. My little Mini Silkie boy is definitely a bit noisier than the two girls but one of the girls can be rather noisy when he is being friendly! NCG I hope she is a she and just a slow starter. They are wormed regularly and treated with the d. earth. They love their food and have lots of greens too. I dont really mind if they dont lay because they are such cheeky characters, and they older of the two loves a cuddle now and again!
