Alis girls
cucumber, courgette and pumpkin plants apart when they are still small. Labels dropped off and I did the " might as well plant the lot in case none come up" and they all germinated. Ever tried asking someone if they wanted a pot luck plant. i will end up putting the lot in. And the morale - better labels and plant less. chickencam
Cucumbers have slightly pointed leaves, pumpkins quite round. Apart from that they are much the same
sjp
it depends on how big they are and just comparing my various ones the courgettes all seem to have a few flower buds forming around the area of the first true leaves the pumpkins and squashes seem to have a single bud at each of the leaf joints both lots are more advanced than the cucumbers they also have smaller leaves and no flower buds all were sown at the same timer buds Cucumbers have slightly pointed leaves, pumpkins quite round. Apart from that they are much the same I was going to say that until I checked mine I've got a couple of courgettes that have more or less the same type of leaves as the cues
Alis girls
Pot luck it will be then I read on someones blog that they always planted all the seeds - not sure if it was Christian as I enjoy his blogs - very amusing - sorry Christian if its not you. And sorry to the blogger if it was you and not Christian. In fact while apologising - sorry to all who have to read my ramblings.
Valkyrie
I enjoy a good ramble Ali At the moment I've got butternut squash and courgettes and they both look similar (thankfully I still have the labels in)!
