The Dogmother
Remind me... is this the same pricing as UK mail? I think it is, but a friend has said it's classed as overseas... I think they've got confused with the Channel Islands I can't see any reference to it on the Royal Mail site
Chucky Mama
Is there a postcode? If so it is the same as uk

Chucky Mama
If you google Royal Mail price finder, you can find out how much any item will cost to post
The Dogmother
Yes, I use that all the time, but there's no option (that I can see) for northern Ireland.
Chucky Mama
Probably because it is same as UK
Grandmashazzie
You may be surprised DM it may be dearer, this is one of my rants when ordering online NI is classed as overseas.I tried to order bedlinen last week,it is a discontinued line and hard to find. Finally found some on an eBay shop, they delivered to UK,France and Southern Ireland but not here
The Dogmother
My friend's reasoning is that it is one of the possible 'exclusion zones' in Ebay posting. I think I will check with the post office rather than just putting stamps on and posting it.
Charlottechicken
I sold an old NI made Golly to a lady in NI earlier in the year (on eBay), posted it first class and it arrived the following day! Yes, same prices as mainland UK

soapdragon
I have posted e bay parcels to both Northern Ireland and Ireland. NI was the same rate as UK and, again, arrived surprisingly quickly. Ireland took a little longer but no probs with either! Channel Islands are the same postage but you have to fill in a customs declaration which gets stuck on to the parcel which rather spoils any surprises if you have rellies in the CI's
