Door too small for Jersey Giant?

YS off to Stafford on Sunday. Girlfriend of 3 years is stopping ovet Saturday night and we are dropping her her home on way to Stafford on Sunday. Not looking forward to it as is going to be emotional enough as it is.

My DD goes on 20th and whilst I can't wait for her to this exciting phase of her life, I am going to miss her. She is buzzing for it. ES is now in his 3rd year of 5 and we will be at home with just YS - now we will know who to blame for everything!

I think that Jack is the youngest and my elder two are still at home makes it a bit harder . I am closer too YS than the othet two, its him that looks after the girls when we go away. I shall miss him.

My ds will shortly be returning for his third year at Queens and eldest has finished Uni and is teaching MFL at secondary school so we are old hat at this now. But I still have a pang of sadness at this time of year when our house has been full of people (and music - when ds is around our life always has a soundtrack!) and returns to just the two of us. A period of readjustment is required ..... And then calm..... Ahhh.! But before you know it Christmas is here and it's full on again! I love every moment of our time together, as a family or just as a couple and never forget how blessed I am, It makes up for shepherding all those socks which are left around the house into the washing machine

There is a pang of sadness, but also a swell of pride too, and the satisfaction of a job well done. Parents take a lot of flack, therefore we need to celebrate the successes and know that all of the sleepless nights, nursing and stern talks were worth it.
