Saronne
I get private messages on Facebook re: wood and anonymous deliveries, too! I'm now known as the 'mad wood lady.'

The Dogmother
Suggested that they take it to a local vet which has a wildlife specialist nurse.. I couldn't keep a small furry in a house with working lurchers and hunting cats
Space Chick
*snorts* me too I also get brought all the lost/orphaned animals and wildlife - baby 'squiggle' last night. Glad that's not just me then!! Had a rather lovely young wood pigeon brought by a neighbour (after she'd seen I'd previously rescued one on Facebook). I'm sure the cats thought "This local food delivery service is a bit good" I'll take the wildlife if the wood keeps coming though.... Today we've had another call about someone by my MIL that is having a tree cut back, and the guys charge to take the wood away.... MIL said that we'd take it for free
The Dogmother
I really need to rein back on the wood collecting; I have about 2 winter's worth already cut.
