Chicken bald back

Helloooo. Not been in this section for a bit but want to pick your brains please.

 

I want to divide my walk in run but make it temporary but wooden panels. At the moment I use sections of my old cube run. So what fixings can I use to be able to take panels down easily rather than screw them together?

 

Have any of you done it?

I have divided my WIR with two panels that are on hinges and fold back flat to the sides or close like double doors. Seems to work well.

Sounds good. Did you make a frame for the doors or hang them straight on the run sides? Thanks

OH says that they are hung from the wooden frame of the run.

If it were me I would use cable ties but then at my place pretty much everything is held together by them!

They are just so useful. I like the hinge idea and will try the lift off type when I get a new saw for Christmas if girls do not behave. Why does OH think it's not appropriate present? Perfect present for a chicken girl.

 

Tomorrow I'm going to knock something up with that black netting we all got a while back but I can't remember where from. Anyone remember, when I've hacked it up I'll need more to keep them off the veg and flowers? Thanks
