Yes, I thought the pink tulle was underwhelming, I loved Neil's pink spotty dress - although not the cut-out bits.

 

A good mix of styles, this is going to be an interesting series.

I didn't get the pink thing either - that didn't seem to be an adaptation of the denim shirt - it was a completely different garment with a tiny bit of the denim shirt tacked on (in an attempt) to comply with the brief, very odd. I realise the shirt made by the lady who left wasn't perhaps in the same league as some of the other things, but it seemed to comply with the instructions much more than the pink skirt?

I've watched it now. Wow men can sew. I was underwhelmed by the pink tulle, it wasn't about the denim just seemed to be trim.

Agreed. It was something kids today would wear, but had nothing to do with the shirt at all.

I loved the waistcoats this week. When they started I thought it was something easy but those pockets were a real challenge. Glad the young lad did well overall. I want an elephant costume

The elephant was really cute. I liked the blue footed booby a lot too! That kid enjoyed the whole thing so much!

What a great episode, I want to make a 50s dress but haven't the waist. Didn't those curtains look good. I'm sure I've got some like that in the decorating cupboard.
