Luvachicken
I was just wondering if anyone had any news on the Flubenvet yet ? I ordered some from the vets ages ago but they still haven't told me when it will be available. Luckily I don't need it until July/August but that isn't actually that far away. Thumbcat
I was looking for this the other day. I found it in stock at perfectpetcare.co.uk, but I've decided to go with the cheaper option of flubenvet pellets for now.
The Dogmother
I got some pellets from farm and pet place on Friday

Beantree
I tried to get Flubenvet powder at the local Mole Valley store the other day. Told me they hadn't had any for ages and that their main warehouse was out of stock. Looks like the problem is at the manufacturers.
Beantree
Bit of research and it appears that Elanco, the manufacturers, will make Flubenvet available in October. Apparently Marriages have also run out of Flubenvet and are unable to make the premixed layers pellets at the moment. Presumably supplies in the shops will all be back to normal around November time. The Dogmother
this happens on a regular basis; was the same when Janssen made it. There are pre-mixed pellets available out there if you look for them, but if you're concerned about worming, then ask your vet if they will prescribe Panacur** suspension off-label. It's fiddlier to administer, but nearly as good as Flubenvet. ** not licensed for use on poultry in the UK.

I thought we only started to have problems when Elanco took over production
The Dogmother
Do you have to withdraw the eggs with that Dogmother ? Yes, you do. Check with your vet, but I have a feeling that the prescribed dose had to be repeated after a week. It doesn't treat all poultry worms, but is pretty good. I thought we only started to have problems when Elanco took over production There were a couple of supply issues before that too; a few years back I think. My understanding at the time was that it was down to lack of planning and foresight with regards to the regular inspections.
