Egluntyne
Unbelievable. How about contacting the local paper. I would go to the police too....at least you'll get a crime number.

Cinnamon
I am so shocked, & so sorry too. Like Egluntine says, contact your local paper & see if they will do a feature. Make sure they say that she was a sick hen on medicine,.....maybe that will tweak someones concience? Maybe offer a small reward for her safe return (£10, or so) Thats what I would do,anyhow....good luck!
Edgeman
HI On the subject of putting pad locks on the doors. The hinge to the door is only made of two run clips so it would be very easy for someone to unclip the clips every with a pad lock in place. Perhaps two small suitcase padlock would be better as the hinges ? And of course the run must be screwed down. But if someone wasnt to get in it is very difficult to stop them. a sad state of affairs.....
skye
So sorry to hear about your little chicken being stolen. Really hope she is returned to you. Skye
Olly
so sorry to hear this ... it's one of my nightmares, "Ooops, word censored!"ody can see my girls from the outside and I keep the back gate locked, but it always worries me. Why on earth would anyone steal a chicken - and just one? Unfortunately some people will just take anything. I'm so sorry to hear about Beauty. The Pearsons
I am so sorry. Why take what was obviously a pet? There are some horrid people around. If you get it put in the paper that she was sick and on medication then I hope whoever took her thinks they have caught a disease from her Helen in Hume
Chickpea
I'm just so shocked and astounded that anyone would have the audacity to do that! My heart goes out to you.
