Stargazer99 Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 My chickens have all been laying brown eggs, but for the last two days there has been a white egg among them, I am wondering why the colour has changed, could it be anything to do with diet? Beantree Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 We have a Marans that laid dark brown eggs then suddenly they lost all the colour. Few months on and they are back to normal. Purplemaniacs Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I sometimes get an egg that is much paler than normal and it often has a different texture to the shell too, more rough.
