PickleHen
Has anyone tried Hipeak organic layer pellets? Keen to keep to organic feed but would like to source a cheaper and local option www.hipeak.co.uk/prods/peak-lay-2-pellets-in-20kg-bags.html

Lewis
In my experience the birds don't do as well on organic feeds and if your birds haven't been raised organically before you won't be able to call the eggs organic anyway. I use non GM, British milled feed and the birds do really well on it. I pay more than £8.20 for layers pellets so I'm not sure you'll find a cheaper option than those. merlina
I use the Marriages organic and the hens do well on it I previously used Allen and Page organic (from Countrywide stores), but the girls seem to have decided they prefer the Marriages by a large margin Omlet's own organic has also gone down OK
