Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I have been trying to PM someone but can't as when I type in the username it says that some users have diasabled their PMs!!!! What do I do?

Strange, I've never come across that (although I don't PM much!).

 

Can you find a current thread they've posted in and ask them to re-enable their PMs?

No because when I click on the username it just takes me to the same message! Equally, there is no PM icon next to their name on the post that I can click on which is how I always PM! I just have something that I think they might find interesting and am happy to post it if they'd like it so need an address so nothing nefarious

 

I am not sure if its forum etiquette to just post on here and ask said person to PM ME!!!?

I have seen posts in the past asking a certain people to contact them, so you could give it a go. Then, once the person has responded, you can always delete the post

Could a Mod suggest how to contact a non PM- able member??? Thanks!

If they don't want to be PM'd they have set it up that way as the default is to allow them. The only other option is to email them if they have an email button on their profile. Admin can pm any member, but only do so if it's an emergency (although I don't know when I ever have had to )

I don't see why not, however I seem to be able to PM the person concerned - let's see if that works.
