Hi Mullethunter

The cube run is slightly higher than the omlet low rise WIR, about 10cms. In the guide it says you can't use it with the cube and I think for the money your as well to just exstend the cube run. If it's width you want to add, you could maybe bridge the gap from cube run to WIR with some of the anti tunnel skirting which you'd have spare.

You *can* attach the cube to the low rise WIR, but, you can only do it with the run from the cube making the connect between the two.

See this link here on the Omlet website: https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/chicken_keeping/chicken_keeping_spares/18119/connection_kit_for_outdoor_pet_run_-_eglu_cube_with_run

Of course you could try and fashion your own join without using the run, as you'd have plenty of spare panels left.

Thanks both. ChooksRcute I'm coming at it from the opposite side - already have the lo-rise WIR but currently have a Go and thinking that next year I might want to upgrade to a cube, but don't really want a taller run.

Daisyandbobby I'd be happy to attach using the run but might be difficult if, as chooksRcute says, the Cube run is taller than the WIR.

Spent a few minutes looking at the cube run today and although it is slightly higher than the low rise, it would attach without a gap as the cube end panel is meshed above the door opening - so this meshed bit would sit above the WIR by 10cms or so.

In my opinion, I'd sit the WIR side on to cube with 1m run, leaving a side panel off. This way you get 2 doors!

No it's not that cleaning is an issue (I'm 5'3" and little so I can actually fit in the Go run right up to the house and can easily get in the lo-rise WIR) it's that I feel a bout of Morehens coming on and I don't want to put more than four in the Go ( I know it's possible that loads more can cram in but that's their own choice)

If I got a Cube then I could get Araucana, Speckled Sussex and Maran bantams to go with my Pekins and Wyandottes :D Anyone know if you can get bantam Barnevelders?

That's my wish list then. To add to my 2 silver laced Wyandottes, millefleur pekin and mottled pekin: Barnevelder bantam; Maran bantam (cuckoo); Speckled Sussex bantam; Araucana bantam (black).

I know I could get an Araucana locally and suspect I may be able to get a Maran, but may have to hatch the other two.

Looking at pictures of the Cube run, I reckon that as the door is on the end, I could just take the door off, butt the run up to the WIR and cable tie the lot together. Because there are flat bits of mesh around the door hole and on the corresponding panel of the WIR it wouldn't matter if they weren't exactly the same height...
