It's been a busy few weeks, my dad has taken a turn for the worse after having a terminal cancer prognosis two years ago, he has been so well that I have been pretending he was ok but he has been very poorly the last month or so and then last week fractured a rib by sneezing:( Changed vets after 8 years and took my boys for a routine vaccination only to be told rudy is going blind (I guessed as much) and his recurrent colitis is stress related not diet for which his has been on a mega expensive hypoallergenic feed!!! Dylan, whom I thought was the fittest little chap imaginable has a moderate/severe heart murmur and we are now awaiting a Heart scan. I feel my old vet has failed me a little bit but onward and upward. Son number 1 is coming home to live for a year so he and the lovely Zoe can save for a deposit after renting in Brixton for several years. London prices are ridiculous so not sure where they are going to start. Hens are great....they are all doing so well and my old girl Barbara is still with me, hobbling around on her arthritic leg but she is going through a moult and looking very sorry for herself but I'm just lucky she is still with me. We have done a few rehomings and a few thousand hens have been sent off to their forever homes so that was lovely.
