Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Here I was off to the post office to get wrapping stuff for the secret Santa and hey ho, I went through the village onto the motorway and headed off down the A303 to Andover - and just found myself in one of the quilt shops (Quilter's Dream) - well fancy that!

 

I've started Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt and not exactly happy with my chosen fabrics although I loved the first choice - having chosen to do a different fabric colour for starters and is a turquiose/aqua Oriental/Asian fabric with bling! So I do have some fabrics but needed some more to tie it all in nicely. So I now have lots more Oriental bling and not so blingy ones. I'm not going to do the full size - heavens to Betsy I've had enough of big quilts lately - so this will be a lap size instead.

Sounds great, I had seen the mystery quilt at quiltville. I was also bad and bought 2 kits from craftsy in their sale!!!

I thought Craftsy wouldn't ship to uk. They have great prices on fabrics and dash Black Fridays gone

It did give the opportunity for international shipping but I had it shipped free to my friend and she is sending me the light one and I will bring home the other heavy when I am over there n June. Saved loads on the fabric alone. They still have the sale on the quilt kits they have a 12 days of christmas sale and they are in there.

They're heavenly! The Ivory Stone is my favourite. Those colours together are gorgeous and such good value.

I know I've not been in here for ages, but just wanted to say I've been following all the Alietere MQ pictures being posted on Facebook - they are amazing and completed in such a short space of time too. Would love to attempt this one day.

Aw thank you. I still have lots to do but have been waylaid by the log cabin. It was fun though.
