Got out the pressure washer again today. And it was definitely needed.... Badly...

Pleased with the result, but it's not completely clean in places. Maybe have another go in a few weeks time.

Haven't let the chickens out yet. Just want it to stay clean for at least one night....

That job is on my list, but I need to move some pots and tidy up first. If there's a way to do it that doesn't involve getting soaked in dirty water, I'd love to know what it is! Once I've done it, the hens will be excluded, I don't mind chicken poo on the lawn but I get fed up with it on the paving.

Removed all pots too, then hosed down the whole garden on the soft setting to get rid of most of the dirt, sand, leaves and such. Luckily I have a drain thingy just outside my garden gate.

Trousers (well pyjama bottoms to be honest... ) are clean. Just chucked them into the washer right away.

I felt guilty for not pressure washing my chicken run before, until hubby reminded me that we didn't actually have a pressure washer to do it in the first place

Ahh - that would do it! Not sure I want to spend on another piece of kit, but it would be great to be able to clean up without getting covered in grime! Thanks for that link.

Ours came with one of those but it didn't like it much if it caught stones by accident.

 

I think shorts and a pair of Crocs are the best solution and then hose yourself off afterwards
