Chickabee
I have 2 large female ducks in a low rise walk in omlet run. They have their house a paddling pool, a covered feeder an a washing up bowl of water in there. The inside of the hose stays nice and clean, but outside is horrendous. I use straw which is on top of dirt/mud. I'm currently cleaning them out every other day, but it just doesn't seem to be enough. Does anyone have any top tips
Cat tails
I have no ducks, but would it be an option to put paving slabs on the dirt and put some straw on that? So you can hose it down once in a while?
Chickabee
Thing is they love to dig. I don't want to stop their natural behaviour
Cheeky Chooky
The floor of the WIR that our two Muscovy girls share is part pea shingle, which their paddling pool sits on, some slate paving stones in the middle and then hardwood wood chip at the end nearest their This setup has worked brilliantly for years
