CatieB
My trusted wise omleteers, can anyone recommend a good waterproof mascara please (that doesn't cost a small fortune preferably). I have an eye condition that means my eyes can be very moist, so normal mascara makes me very panda like quickly. Ive tried some waterproof ones but they usually smudge by the end of the day. My colleague asked if I had been crying last week Im fed up with the mascara I use, Boots No7 stay perfect does just that, its perfect in the sense I have no panda like eyes but it makes my lashes brittle, hard and uncomfortable. I thought I bet my friends on here will know. Thanks in advance.
Cat tails
Ever considered painting/dyeing them? Like you dye your hair? Some salons do that here anyway.
CatieB
I haven't ever considered that. I probably wouldn't do it for two reasons, Im will admit I am very precious about my eyes given my eye condition so it would scare me, plus I think of the up keep and need to organise my self to get it done. My eyebrows have gone to pot as I couldn't keep up the waxing appointments, if I weren't so fair Id look like a yeti
Grandmashazzie
I was going to recommend dyeing also. I have tried many mascaras, cheap and dear and never found one that doesn't smudge. I must rub my eyes a lot. Especially if you are fair,it will make a big difference and save all that faffing about with mascara. It should last about 3 months. My eyelashes are dark and I get them dyed every so often as it makes them look thicker and the girl said the ends of eyelashes are pale so even if they are brown and dyed they look longer. gavclojak
I have dyed them but to be honest there wasn't that much difference, I swear by Lancôme doll eyes. Love love love it!!
Jennifer Jane
I had the same problem with panda eyes. I've spent a small fortune on mascara and the only one that works for me is Estee Lauder double wear zero smudge. I also have trouble with eye liner too, Bare Minerals 5 in 1 cream eyeshadow as a base tends to keep it where it should be, but I use it up quickly and it's not the cheapest.
