They are probably 0.5kg or a bit less.

I checked out the ingredients online; Ivermectin is a 'mild' wormer i.e. not broad spectrum, and is one ingredient we use in lice and mite treatments, but not to be relied on as a wormer. The praziquantel is more broad and I have heard of it being used in bigger doses on horses. technically, eggs should be withdrawn, but both ingredients are used on humans, so that's debatable (as my farm vet says  )

Interesting

The lady at the vets office used to use it on her chickens when she had some them and said it worked fine. More exact administration than using one of those little pipet thingies, you normally use for cats ands dogs.

I've weighed Leentje bedore and she was around 400 grams. The partridge is quite a big heavier, guessing around 750 grams. Ginger is around a kg.

After more than a week, the partridge hen was still sitting on her perch in the run and really not leaving it at all.

I actually started to wonder if I needed to take some action. But just now she just hopped down and is wandering around as if she has been living here for ages...

Chickens are weird!
