Grandmashazzie
Poor Mr Sonic has had to leave his harem. I ended up with him accidentally when I thought I was buying two girls. He was a lovely silver laced Wyandot bantam and I hoped he would have a tiny crow. Sadly not he had a very loud and horrible strangulated cock a doodle doo. My neighbour assured me she loved the sound and he lasted all last summer up until now. My husband was chatting to her this am and she pointedly mentioned she had been up since 4.25 am. Off to vets to be pts, then vet phoned to say he was so handsome they were going to try and rehome him, fingers crossed he is lucky. Our garden is considerably quieter without him. Daphne
Its so sad isn't it? But also the realities of cockerals and neighbours. Well done on your prompt action. Our first cockeral was acquired via our vets and boy did he turn out to be a stunner so fingers crossed for your lad
LAB
We can't have a rooster either. But that's a city law. I hope that he can be rehomed!
