Luvachicken
I gave my lovely chicks a cuddle this afternoon and when I went to pick up Milly she crouched They are not so chick like now and tomorrow is in fact their 20 weeks old birthday. I did think Milly was the youngest out of the 3 of them but the crouching suggests otherwise. I know they crouch ready for a male but why do some crouch and others don't ? Of my 3 older girls only Gemma crouches and always has, whereas the other 2 have never done it. Just need to wait for the eggs to come now

Cat tails
Don't think Pickwick has ever crouched but she does lay.
Luvachicken
Went into the run earlier and checked inside the chicks's house to find a dear little egg in the egg box Clever Milly And I'm pretty certain I saw Molly crouching today too

Luvachicken
I was so pleased with my little egg that when my son got in from work, I told him all about the egg and how clever she was, and he said she wasn't clever - it was just nature

Luvachicken
I know this isn't the egg page but lovely Milly has laid an egg every day since the first one she laid
