Having read the Mark 1v Mark 2 thread I have a query. It states that the Mark2 holds more chooks but from what I've read it's the run that is the limiting factor rather than the actual Eglu. Is this the case. I have a Mark 1 and 3 bantams. I am desperate for more bantams and am comsidering enlarging the standard run. Would making the run bigger suffice? Is the Mark 1 run smaller than the Mark2?

not sure about the mark 1 run, but i think with bantams you would be able in my opinion to get 2-4 more bantams. The eglu would have room and if you enlarged the run - even better!

You knew the answer I wanted I think just 2 for now. I'd like Faverolle bantams. Annyone know of any in essex?
