Beautiful Denise, but cold

Being a Southern softie (quite why I don't know- I come from the NorthWest & little sis lives in Bradford- must have acclimatised to the South over my years down here) I love the look of snow, and really enjoy a crisp cold day, but damp & biting winds send me scurrying back indoors for a fire and a mug of hot chocolate

I really don't think that you can beat Yorkshire though for scenery and contrasts. Probably my favourite county

oh, you are SO lucky to live in such a lovely place - I think I'll still come up even if there isnt any snow!!! We have some lovely areas down here in Dorset, but no chance of affording a cottage as most of them are occupied by city workers who use them as holiday cottages pushing up the prices (£500,000 for a 3 bedroom thatched cottage with 1 acre of land ) So I will just sit back and look at your lovely photos
