Couperman Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 Our top and biggest chook Splodge aka 'Fang' has developed a feather pecking habit and has shredded poor Bubble. We fitted a bumper bit yesterday much to her disgust! Does they bumper bit need to stay on for ever or is it a temporary measure until she stops doing it? Babs had hers on for 4 months or so until one day it was gone, and I worried that she had swallowed it! It did work though and she hasn't feather plucked since.
