Im not too disappointed though, im just glad you didnt stuff us, so just losing by one goal is quite acceptable - especially at the Emirates PLUS you hadnt beaten us for 4 YEARS so we let you have an early Christmas present. Not looking forward going into work with my gooner boss tomorrow. He'll have a big grin on his face. Im still happy over liverpool losing!!! You're much stronger at the Emirates now compared to last season. I think it will be all won & lost over the Christmas fixtures. Martin B Posted December 16, 2007 Share Posted December 16, 2007 Here's my take on Grand Slam Sunday. Liverpool vs Manchester United was absolutely awful. I think Liverpool deserved a point but United defended well and took their chance with that goal. On another day Torres would have had a couple. Chelsea did not deserve a point. I think Terry and Lampard were lucky not to have been sent off, on another day they and Fabregas might have been. Referee did well to control it though. If Terry is out for the rest of this year like speculated then that might just dismiss Chelsea's hopes. Especially with the African Cup of Nations in January which leads to the installment of the 'world' class Steve Sidwell. I think "Ooops, word censored!"nal and United will run away with it. But when it gets to April there will only be one club in it and I don't think it will be "Ooops, word censored!"nal.
