gooner.girl
Ahhh - looking back on it though - if i had the chance of "Ooops, word censored!"nal going out in this round or the last round i'd chose the last! One less game to play at the end of a long season and not so near the final so your hopes aren't quite so dashed. You don't get any prizes for winning the quarter finals - and now Bolton are more likely to win a trophy then chelsea are!

Martin B
Best day of football all season that didn't feature "Ooops, word censored!"nal winning a game! It looks like you might not win another game all season. Draws with Birmingham, Villa, Wigan? Not Championship form is it? Bolton have as much chance as Villa as winning a trophee, and we are not in any! I feel embarassed for the Premier League that we have 1 team in the semi finals! Let's just hope Portsmouth don't win it and Barnsley are playing European Football next season !
Guest
Here's the updated league (from beginning of february ) Helen and Debs both top-scored - each amassing 21 points over the month - they stretch their lead over third-placed Phil (whose challenge is faltering) notables.... Emma was the only one to correctly predict 1-0 to barnsley this weekend Clash was the only one to predict spuds beating chelsea 2-1 Dan and Debs (this week) are the first people to get ZERO points - and they did it together as a couple - awwwwwww... Martin and Chelsea surged past Emma Tom started very strongly - with an 8 and a 7 - but then dropped off dramatically - rather like a certain football team who play in red did this month in the league........ Still - he still amassed 20, which was second highest score, and he did start later then everyone else... Clash- steady as you go - did have that outstanding League Cup bonus game prediction - but why not go back to your more successful 2-1 for all home teams system? that worked bigtime! anyway - as it stands... Prediction League Helen - 139 Debs -133 Phil - 130 Martin – 126 Chelsea - 119 Emma - 117 Dan – 110 Clash – 109 Tom - 99 Lorna - 98 Ali - 58 Annie - 50 Helen looks pretty much unstoppable.... Guest
up the baggies what a result on Saturday, good old West Brom we have to suffer the Villa and the Wolves - it's nice to have a decent midlands team lurking on the footie thread! Phil
Guest
at over 10,000 views and 70-odd pages - Footie is alive and well on the Omlet forum but... threads can get unstable when they get so large - so it is probably time to start a fresh one and consign this one to the archives.... I will start a new one with the title: "FOOTIE LEAGUE & BANTER" and I will post the current table as the first post. see you all over there...
