Guest
I know its September but James has his heart set (and this has been for months now) on a SACK BARROW!!! Now whilst I am happy to go out and buy one on behalf of Santa I'm worried that he will be disappointed when he realises it's so big that he can't use it. Has anyone ever seen a child size one on sale anywhere? Keep your eyes peeled. My other option is to see if I can get one made, if I hadn't changed schools I would have asked the head of DT but not sure about going back to ask him now. Do you think I could find a firm to custom make one? I'm not over worried about the cost as I usually buy all his toys at the boot sale so once a year I buy him one big new present (I know how mean am I!!) Cinnamon
I will ask The Hubby to keep an eye out - he often sees odd things like this in Builders merchants etc As for custom made - how about asking at a local Smithy?

Guest
Thanks all, I think that last one could be just the trick - it looks like a real one but is small enough for him to handle! We may well get a full sized one as well as we need to move things soo far around the garden but I'd rather he had one that was a decent size for play and not forever being dropped around my house (I can just see him constantly barging my furniture and dropping one that is too large for him) Oh why do kids have such strange ideas?
