Alis girls
My two ladies are causing me concern. Flossie has finished her antibiotics. Her vent which was dirty was washed and I applied purple spray after drying it. Put her back with Penny who we now find has been pecking her. Cleaned and reapplied evil purple spray and anti picking spray. Have segregated. Should we split the run in 2 so they can see each other but the pecking stops. I am limited due to my own health issues so OH is struggling alone and doing wonderful job. She spent most of the time in eglu. She's a year old and not laying. mullethunter
You may have no choice but to separate them by the sound of it. Sorry you’re having such a difficult time.
Luvachicken
We bought a cheap pump, garden sprayer from the £ shop and use it as a water pistol on Lily. Gemma had been in the broody cage and although within the run, as soon as she came out Lily was there ready to attack. A few squirts from the water soon did the trick. She really doesn't like it.
