mullethunter Posted June 29, 2019 Share Posted June 29, 2019 I watched the start of Stormzy last night but have had a horrid cold and was too tired to watch it all - watched the rest this morning. I’m not really a rap / grime fan but I love Big For Your Boots and even though I’m not religious either I think Blinded By Your Grace is beautiful- it nearly makes me cry normally and watching how it made him feel on stage last night was incredible. I though he was awesome. Daphne Posted July 6, 2019 Author Share Posted July 6, 2019 The Cure have always been my favourite band, and although Robert Smith looked 10 times worse than Tim Burgess, the set was fabulous, and Robert Smith, aged 60, still felt every single word of every single song, some of them he has been singing for almost 40 years. I loved every moment. The worst news is that they are playing Lisbon next week, but we can't go as we have visitors. Bad planning all round!
