Egluntyne
What would you count as their birthday, the day they hatched or the day you acquired them? I haven't a clue when mine hatched I just know that they were around POL age. I'm afraid i don't bother.
lost-sheep
i dunno... which ever its just the sort of thing i'd do (how sad am i)!
Laura & CTB
Not sad at all lost-sheep When I got my girls at 18 weeks old I calculated their birthday was about the end of May so I made it the 29th which is the same day as DS. They got a nicely presented tuna salad with tomatoes and lettuce topped with sunflower seeds, and I sang happy birthday to them ----see its not just you
craftyhunnypie
yes I celebrate the day they arrived as their birthday! They got a mixture of cooked rice, sweetcorn, raisins & later a little gem lettuce & loads of cuddles. The chicken sitter made them a birthday card! Sweet! We had a little barbeque with my neighbour when we got the little chooks this year! Emma.x
Beauty-Box
Mine were 16 weeks old when I got them, so I worked out roughly when they would have hatched. I got it to 24th july and they were 2 this year. Gave them lots of treats !!
lisa33
When I bought my girls I was given the hatching dates. I will celebrate their birthday's when they come round. I will also celebrate the day we got them.
arowland17
We'll celebrate the day we got them as their birthday not mad at all, although my OH I'm sure will think I'm crazy for celebrating it but he likes the chickens more than he lets on so after a bit of moaning he'll join in the celebrations!! AJuff
MMMMMmmmmmmmm! Not too sure if I'll celebrate or not. The date of the first egg? The date we got them? The approximate date they hatched? Who knows. My children asked tonight if they could make a carrot cake for the guineapigs first birthday!!! I wasn't sure what to say.
