Some people do but I would definitely say it would have to be with other bantams and not standard hens or hybrids.  I would also say not to mix with pekins as they can be very fiesty.  There's a blog called Carols Chickens if you would like to take a look - she has some some bantams with a flock of seramas

A friend breeds and shows Serama, he keeps them with Belgian bantams but nothing bigger.

There can be a big variation in sized and hardiness so some may overwinter outside in a well covered run while others need to be kept indoors.

Thanks, I read the carols chickens serama section but didn't notice what bantam types she kept them with, I'll re look. Getting my first hens soon, been offered two Seramas but my understanding is you are better with three or more hens. I will try and find a third Serama. I've ordered the coop, i think its going to look really good. Just doing as much research as I can until I get them. So any Serama pointers would be greatly appreciated
