Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

My partner saw Mavis, our big Plymouth Rock, going into the Cube at lunch time today, when she checked later there was a creamy white egg in the nestbox, it weighs 41g We bought Mavis 13 weeks ago when she was only 10 weeks old and as she is a pure breed we didn't expect to see any eggs until springtime so this was a great surprise.

 

If only Moira would lay now as she is 22 weeks old and she is mean't to be mature at 16-17 weeks.

Mavis laid again yesterday as did Marilyn but not Maude, but today we hit a hatrick, we had our first ever 3 egg day

 

... all we need is Moira to get her act together and we will have a full house.
