Guest
In my mixed-up world of too many pregnancy hormones, resulting in bizarre cravings, I turned to chookiehubbie the other night, when the ice-cream van drew up outside, just as Heston Blumental was creating the perfect cheeseburger, and said 'I could just go a black-pudding with ice cream just now'. This, of course, resulted in much 'ing and 'ing from my loving flock! Imagine my surprise this morning when chookiehubbie emailed me this link.... Egluntyne
Erm...sounds delicious Chookie, especially when served with peanut butter, avocado and coal dust sauce.

Popcorn
Well, you must be onto something there Shona...there must be a call for it.....can't see myself queuing at the icecream van for it though.... My Dad, being a butcher, bought us up on Black Pudding (and other equally as disgusting things, cockels and whelks). I loved it as a child, but I couldn't eat it now. Milly
I checked the date on the article in case it was April 1st. But it wasn't. I'm fairly adventurous about what I eat, and like black pudding, but I must admit I'm not keen to try black pudding ice cream But then I'm not pregnant....... Paola
The only thing I craved when I was pregnant was ice I would buy it by the bag loads but only one particular brand because the rest tasted inferior I would even sit in bed crunching away. It would drive OH mad and set his teeth on edge
