Couperman
This is a superb little rant from Jeff Stelling of Soccer Saturday fame about the C4 voting Middlesbrough as the armpit of the UK. Very funny. Claret our friend Tranny gets a mention! Not sure Journey South is much to brag about mind, or Chubby Brown for that matter, anyway made me laugh! Kev. Couperman
But the Transporter Bridge!! Tell him Clare.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The powerstations on Wilton site used to power the production of nylon and every other kind of plastic (including Crocs) available will soon be powered by renewable energy, ie wood. mostly recycled. Yes we are smoggies but if we weren't what colour would your toothpaste be?, and what would your recycle bin be made of,? adn (not a spelling mistake) your car, and your ............ everything. Cooling Towers I think they look lovely, Wind turbines are pure Engineering sex on a pole. It must be nice to live somewhere lovely like errrr home. Kev. edit: deleted ps cos it made no sense. The Dogmother
Haven't got round to watching it yet Kev - will have to wait until I get home, but the transporter bridge is one of my fave experiences. I love heavy engineering and that whole area is great. We try to get on bridges like that if they're near where we're going. I can't remember exactly where is Wales it was, but we went a cross a wooden pull-along one in Wales this summer. I'd have to get a map out to tell you the name. 'windbines' as Rosie used to call them are a favourite of mine too Kev. As are steam engines - I've driven and stoked (with some help and guidance)a steam engine at Quainton steam railway centre in Bucks and ridden on the footplate of a vintage steam roller at the Bloxham show a few years ago... the smell and noise is just sooooo brilliant!
