Tessa the Duchess
I found a packet of 'popping corn' in a cupboard today. Can I give it to my chickens? It looks just like the corn in mixed corn. It is the sort that you heat oil in a saucepan, chuck the corn in, put the lid on and it turns into popcorn Tessa
Guest
well, when we used to do popcorn we'd buy ordinary dried corn kernels so I assume it must be the same stuff surely? We just used to stick it in a big saucepan with some butter. I'd hate to tell you the wrong thing though so I'll say I think so but I'm not 100% sure
Blonde Chicken
Hi Tessa I'm not sure either but Omlet are stocking corn for popping in the shop it even shows you it popped and suggests giving it to chickens popped so I am guessing it would be ok either popped or unpopped. But as I said I dont know I'm just guessing. Karen
