David S
We have an Eglu Omlet chicken coop with 4 chickens. We are expecting a cold snap tonight down to 28 deg F. Do we need to cover the coop with a blanket or take other measures to keep them warm?

If you close the coop, they’ll keep themselves warm. We had -10 Celsius last winter for a week, which is about 14 F and I did use the winter cover (well insulation lining, which preceded the insulation cover), but I had only 3 small bantams then. HarrisonFamily
I have the cube but last winter it was colder than that and my hens just huddled on the branch out side so I am sure they will be fine.
Luvachicken
The coldest it's ever been whilst I've had chickens was -10 and they were all fine in the Cube with no covers.
