Anne
Hi. We have 3 foxes living at the back of our garden and guinea pigs living in an Eglu Classic. We have a tunnel system and run as well. So far we have felt confident it is all fox proof until, a few days ago, we say a fox standing on top of the Eglu, with his teeth around the door handle. We thought it may be possible for him to turn the handle, if he persists, so we have brought the guinea pigs into temporary accommodation in the kitchen till we work out what to do. Any ideas? I need to access the door easily twice a day, for cleaning out the guinea pigs and checking their water, so any solution needs to easy for a human to remove but not a fox! Any solutions please? Cat tails
Maybe put something in the hole the handle rests in? Two stones on each side or something, so the fox can’t get it’s teeth around the handle?
