Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 umm i was wondering what people do if they go on holiday in mid-winter i.e december skiing or something. is it 2 cold to leave the door open at night????? we have people to do water n poo, but its kinda evil to ask them to open a door at 6:30am!!!!! tap back! There are strong debates on here about door open/door closed, but as far as I know "Ooops, word censored!"ody has reported a chicken dying of cold, at least not in the UK! It was a deal-breaker for me when I first got chickens, because I knew I would sometimes have to work away from home and leave them overnight - I was assured that they would be fine, and they are.
