Lesley
Do you like the tidied up version of the outbuilding behind Martin and the kittens? We've switched all the electrics to the outbuildings off - after my Dad (retired Electrician) nearly had a heart attack just looking at all the cables strung from rafters, joins and bare wires everywhere. Yes, Willow came into the house and we found her sitting half way up the stairs We had a good time at the vets this morning and then looking at some tiny piglets at a farm. The vet had confirmed where we thought the farm was - they have Berkshires, which we wanted. He also told us that a well known TV chef has had pigs from there for a new TV programme to be shown in June. We decided we had to go straight away - sales of Berkshires will go mad after the programme Our vet was consulted about the pigs and the pig farmer sold him the pigs. I think they both appear on the programme. The vet doesn't agree with routine worming - just what we wanted to hear, we were expecting a battle. We have to collect poo samples from each pig - by following them around - wearing some very fetching, very long, orange gloves . With our low stocking density, we shouldn't have any problems This will mean that they will be totally organic as their feed and all treats are organic Photos of Carl in his new gloves to follow next week!
